Washington D.C. Trip October 2026
The next Hillside 8th Grade Washington, D.C. trip will take place October 6-8, 2026.
Parents are strongly encouraged to attend our Parent D.C. Informational Meeting on Thursday, April 30th at 6:30 PM in the Hillside Gymnasium, where additional details about the trip will be shared.
The total trip cost is $550.00, which will be collected in two payments of $275.00 each.
Payment of $275.00 (paid in cash or check payable to PCSD) will be collected in the morning before school during the week of May 18 through May 22, 2026. All students wishing to attend the trip MUST make this payment by Friday, May 22nd.
Permission Forms will also be due at this time.
The second payment of $275.00 (paid in cash or check payable to PCSD) will be collected in the morning before school on September 1-3, 2026. All students wishing to attend the trip MUST make this payment by Thursday, September 3rd.
Medical packets will also be due at this time.
Medical packets must be completed for any students who have allergy, asthma, or seizure plans.
Additionally, any medication, regardless of whether it is prescribed or over the counter, needs a doctor’s order. The Administration of Medication Form must be filled out and signed by a physician and a parent/guardian for each medication. Note that this even includes over-the-counter medications like Tylenol or ibuprofen.
